Healing the soul
At the House of Dreams we support kids who struggle with cancer, along with their relatives, parents and siblings; providing much needed services.
The garden has been landscaped with this approach in mind. After setting up our fishpond and greenhouse, it’s time for this final project — our petting zoo.
In this magical space, surrounded by nature’s wonders, little furry friends await the kids, along with reptiles and winged creatures.
Pet therapy has been proven to promote good health. Sick children react to animals, not only psychologically, but physiologically.
Our therapeutic petting corner for children with cancer is an invaluable supplement to their treatment regimen.

Petting boosts your health
Beyond therapy per se, it is astonishing how all the cuddling and crooning with pets does wonders for the child’s physical health.
Our wide range of small animals — furred, winged and reptilian, caters to as many tastes as possible, leading to improved health.Winged Creatures

Petting Living without; Feeling complete
Winged creatures are friendly. Children love them!
With birds, however, we run the risk of immunosuppressed children picking up respiratory diseases.
To prevent infection, we have designed a special cage that protects the children’s health, while allowing for closeness and pleasure.Koi Fish Pond

Ecology Meets Therapy
We have chosen Koi fish for our ecological pond, for their amazing responsiveness.
If a child just approaches the pond, a shoal of fish will swim towards him.
This entertaining, heart-warming reaction makes children feel loved and wanted.
Children see the fish as their responsibility. They visit often and feed them with love. The Therapeutic Greenhouse

Learning Life’s Power from Plants
At the garden’s edge, lies our therapeutic greenhouse.
Rows of plants and flowerpots, lovingly planted by our children and their therapists, decorate the space.
Around an ancient olive tree, children nurture their plants, while a playful waterfall gurgles gently in the background.
